Självklart ville jag göra det! Det var bara att börja..men helt ärligt är det svårare att göra på yngre människor (sitter inte still) än äldre. :)

 

 

Det har varit en underbar dag då jag har fått redovisa på (engelska) min hobby! Alltså sminka fakesår.

Jag redovisade för min engelska grupp och därefter min klass. Jag berättade hur jag började med detta, hur jag gör och varför jag gör det här. Jag berättade att jag hade en blogg och visade bilder från att Sveriges Radio var hemma hos mig!

Jag hade även tagit med mig latex, fakeblood och allt mitt smink till skolan. Det var ett antal som ville att jag skulle göra ett fakesår på dem, så självklart gjorde jag det! En rolig upplevelse :)

När jag redovisade använde jag en PowerPoint som jag gjort och stödlappar. Redovisningen var cirka 10 minuter.

Ungefär dethär berättade jag för mina klasskamrater idag!

 

I would like to tell you about my hobby… I will explain how it started and about the process how it is made….

My hobby is to apply fake wounds to my body with makeup. I have been doing this since I was 12 years old.
Some of you have probably come across one of my pictures on Facebook? In any case, I have not taken any courses to learn what I do, I have taught myself… my interest has helped me to improve over time.

It all started with a real wound I had on my forehead. I kept scratching and it started to bleed, the blood was running from my forehead down to my nose. My makeup that day was very dark. The contrast between the blood and my makeup looked amazing… I took my lipstick and painted around my wound… that made it look bigger and much scarier. I painted my eyes more black and then took a picture of myself. I uploaded the picture on Facebook and got a surprising number of likes. That was how it all began. After that day I was hooked…..

I became even more interested in blood after I had seen all the Twilight films. Vampires became a big interest of mine.

I still use normal makeup but have started to buy some more advanced things. For example: latex and movie blood. "This is latex and this is the blood" (showing latex and blood of the class)

I have a blog where I collect all my pictures. It is there for everyone to see... The blog is called "theblood.blogg.se" A couple of Month ago I received an unusual comment on my blog.

It said "hey we are from radio Sörmland and are making a program about blood, we would like to get in touch with you," It came as a shock, but of course I wanted to be in radio program so I contacted them…..During our Winter break Swedish Radio P4 came and visit me at home, I invited them to coffee and cake and they started to ask questions…

• How did it start?
Then I explained to them as I just explained to you …it started with a wound on my forehead…

• Why are you doing this?
I like to be creative… and to mix fake blood and make up in order to create a wound, you must have a creative feeling on how to make it as realistic as possible…it is challenge, but really exciting when the result is good…

• How do you do this?
I showed them how I make a wound by using one of the reporters, Lena Nordlund, As a guniea pig…I made a 3 centimeter long open looking wound on her right arm…they were all very fascinated and impressed….it was a great feeling…
The program will broadcast in May. I really look forward to hear how they have edited the interview….

I have showed you pictures of examples of my work …but now I will also show you a wound I prepared earlier, so you can see what it looks like in reality…. "Ida you can please come to me" Here you can see a wound on Ida's arm that I have made. It's not difficult, but it can take some time to do.

First, you use a kind of clay, then latex which makes the clay go hard, after that, you start to work a shade into the wound with make-up…and last you pour the blood into the wound…
